Quoted one price and billed for another by munky - 04/03/2009My case wasn't too severe but I was quoted 30 dollars to get something fixed and was billed for 55. I would have done it myself if I knew the price would be that high. They didn't even let me know that the price would be higher before they decided to go ahead and fix it. Poor business practice in my opinion. Also, about two and a half years ago from this same shop, the mechanic came up to me (I worked in the back there) and told me "They are going to try to sell you on a T fitting in your coolant system, thats not the problem so dont do it"... and sure enough they came to me and said "You need a T-valve that is in your coolant system, it will be $100 bucks" and I declined thanks to the honest mechanic.
